He’s his same self it seems to me — just even more business-minded. I speak to him often. I know when he comes out, it’s gonna be a problem, ’cause he’s one of those people that needs to get out his thoughts. So I would imagine he would probably be in the studio for 60 days straight. He’ll probably do three albums the day he comes home.” – MTV

Maybe Nicki Minaj wanted to wait until Weezy was home before she releases her debut album, so that could be a reason why she chose November 23rd for her release date.

Nicki Minaj’s Official Release Date For Her Debut Album!

Nicki Minaj recently promised that her debut album would drop this year, and she now has an official release date! Nicki’s album which is still untitled is set to be released on the 23rd November 2010. “Massive Attack” and “Your Love” are two singles from the album, and this is what the Barbie tweeted to her followers on Twitter: “Yes. It’s time. November 23rd”.

Lil Twist and Tyga are both set to drop albums this year too, so I wonder if any of them will release an album before Nicki.

Lil Twist speaks to Rap-Up TV about his Young Money family, introducing Lil Wayne to the internet, Tha Carter IV, Taylor Swift, and his upcoming album which is set to feature appearances from Weezy, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, and Sean Kingston.

So it looks like Tunechi will re-do his Tha Carter IV album when he gets out of prison.

Nicki Minaj Promises Debut Album Will Drop This Year

“The album is coming along just spectacular,” Minaj told MTV News. “I been doing a lot of work with Swizz Beatz, and the stuff that we been coming upon is magical. When people hear the album, they’re going to get to know Onika (her birth name is Onika Maraj). And no one knows Onika. I really didn’t think I would be this excited about the songs that I’m coming up with. I’m really, really proud.”

The Lil Wayne protégé promised that her album would arrive before the year ends but said she’s in no rush.

So far, she’s released the song “Massive Attack,” and the rapper is currently prepping the video for “Your Love,” an accidental single that landed atop the Billboard Rap Songs chart.

In addition to opening up about her life, Nicki Minaj will be introducing another alter ego on the project: Roman Zolanski. But the animated femcee was hush on any details about that.

“I’m gonna let the album do that,” she demurred. “As of now, you’ll know Nicki and you’ll know Roman, my crazy alter ego Roman Zolanski. But you’ll meet Onika before the year ends.”
